How to pay Volta charging station?
The charging company accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you have Apple Pay or Google Pay enabled on your phone and you're using the Volta app, you don't need to add a payment method at the charging station.
How to know if Volta is charging?
You should hear and feel a click when you plug the connector in. Charging should start soon after plugging in. It usually takes a few seconds but can take up to a minute to start charging.
What kind of charger is Volta?
All of our Level 2 chargers are equipped with J1772 charging cables and are compatible with all US vehicles. Teslas come equipped with an adapter for the J1772 connector. DC Fast chargers are compatible with vehicles that have a CCS charging port.
